Employee Turnover: A Bibliometric Analysis and Study Literature Review
Abstract
This research was conducted to broaden understanding of employee turnover with bibliometric analysis and to deepen research findings with a literature review study to determine developments and relationships with other dimensions. This research was conducted to provide a new perspective and can be an additional literature on employee turnover that is important from previous research. The method used is a mixed method between bibliometric analysis using VOSviewer and study literature reviews on 30 journals from Science Direct during the 2018-2022 period. The results of the bibliometric analysis explained the most authors, co-authorship, co-accurance, and citations, while the literature review study revealed a strong relationship between employee turnover and retention and turnover intention. Employee turnover was also found to be related to many other dimensions in research journals which contributed to the development of employee turnover and could become a source of literature for future research.
