Abstract

Investment decision-making is an action taken by individuals to determine and invest their funds in a particular asset or company with the aim of obtaining profits in the future. This type of research is quantitative research. The population of this study is the millennial generation in the Madiun Region. The total sample was 384 respondents determined based on the Lemeshow formula. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. The data analysis technique uses Smart PLS Version 3.0. The results of the inner model analysis show that investment decision-making, investment knowledge, investment motivation, financial literacy, and investment interest are classified as moderate (medium). The results of direct and indirect influence hypothesis testing show that direct investment knowledge, investment motivation, and financial literacy have a significant influence on investment interest, direct investment interest has a significant influence on investment decision-making, and indirect investment knowledge, investment motivation, and financial literacy have an influence significant impact on investment decision making through investment interest.
