Abstract

This study aims to investigate the behavioural intention to use technology in the payment of zakat, infaq, sadaqah and waqf (ZISWAF), the level of religiosity and gender to adopt a non-cash payment system by the Indonesian Muslim community through structural equations based on partial least squares. This research uses an online survey method with Google Surveys. The sample of this research is 459 users of non-cash payment systems located in Indonesia. SMARTPLS software version 3.2.9 was used to model the relationship between the variables studied. The results confirmed the relationship between Technology Addiction, Behavioural Intention to Use and gender showing a significant mediating effect of Behavioural Intention to Use on the relationship between gender and Religiosity. Technology Addiction was also found to influence Behavioural Intention to Use, varying depending on gender. In addition, the model highlighted the moderating effect of technology addiction. Based on the model presented in this study, it can be concluded that Behavioural Intention to Use has a great impact on religiosity in the target population. The impact of technology addiction on the level of religiosity proves to be important in the Muslim community in Indonesia.
