Abstract

This study was conducted to describe the challenges of Islamic banks in dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method by examining written sources such as scientific journals, reference books, literature, encyclopedias, scientific articles, scientific works, and other sources both in written form or in digital format that are relevant and related to the object of this research study in the form of texts. texts or writings that describe and explain the Challenges of Islamic Banking in Facing Covid-19. The results of the study show that among the challenges of Islamic Banking in dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia First, adjusting business patterns with digitizing bank services, both digitalization in raising funds and financing. suppress/minimize non-performing financing (NPF) payments so that they can survive during the Covid-19 pandemic. Third, look for new alternative markets, minimal markets that are not significant as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, business sectors related to the health industry, so that the industry Islamic banking can still survive during the Covid-19 pandemic.
