Abstract

The increasing public interest in shopping, some online users see a great opportunity in this regard. How to bring together buyers and sellers in a place that is not limited by time or space. Because time and space limitations will hinder the transaction process that will affect the purchase number. With the beginning of anxiety about people's needs to be able to shop more easily, an online market (E-Commerce) was created. With this E-commerce, it is hoped that it will facilitate purchases, consumers do not need to come to the place directly, so that the mobilization of purchases will be higher. It was booming in 2011, but at that time the online market was only enjoyed by some. Only those who understand technology where at that time the ease of getting technology was minimal. But over time, the convenience of technology is increasingly revealing itself. Based on this background, the research objectives are 1). To find out the effect of discounts on purchase intention at Tokopedia; 2). To find out whether there is an effect of Webqual on purchase intention at Tokopedia, and 3) To find out whether there is an effect of discount and Webqual on purchase intention at Tokopedia. Our research uses quantitative research, using statistical data to be analyzed through data collection techniques through sampling and purposive sampling techniques used by consumers of food products at Tokopedia. This data collection was carried out by distributing online questionnaires through Google Form and 90 respondents were obtained. This questionnaire was processed using Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS).
